Family physician
Dr Jasmine Ramcharitar is a dedicated and compassionate family physician committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care for her patients of all ages. She believes in building lasting relationships with her patients and supporting their health through every stage of life. Dr Ramcharitar earned her master’s degree in neuroscience, wherein her research explored mechanisms of neurodegeneration, an experience that continues to shape her thoughtful perspective on the wellbeing of our aging population. While completing her Master’s degree, she began volunteering at the Jewish General Hospital’s Memory Clinic, where her passion for medicine and patient care blossomed. She went on to earn her medical degree from McGill University and completed a residency in Family Medicine at St Mary’s Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatrics and women’s health. Since 2018, Dr Ramcharitar has provided community care to patients, co-founding and running a women’s health clinic. Dr. Ramcharitar takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered in their healthcare decisions.
